The Asian American Peace Officers’ Association (AAPOA) is an inclusive and diverse organization of peace officers within local, state, and federal agencies. Our mission is to forge strong relationships within our communities in which we serve through public safety training, community events, mentorship programs, and positive engagements. AAPOA is comprised of peace officers as well as individuals and companies who share our commitment to justice, diversity, and the betterment of our communities.

AAPOA is officially a Texas chapter of NAPOA!

We are thrilled to announce that as of August 1, 2024,  AAPOA is now officially a Texas chapter of NAPOA. This milestone allows us to strengthen our network, enhance our resources, and better serve our community. We look forward to the opportunities this affiliation brings and to continuing our mission with even greater impact.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The AAPOA is deeply committed to community engagement as a cornerstone of its mission. Through various outreach programs, events, and initiatives, the association strives to build and strengthen relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve. By fostering open communication, mutual respect, and understanding, the AAPOA aims to bridge the gap between police and civilians, promote positive interactions, and address issues of trust and accountability. Through collaborative efforts with community leaders, organizations, and residents, the AAPOA works to create safer neighborhoods, enhance public safety, and promote equality and justice for all.
